Albert Faro, MD, is vice president of clinical affairs at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Albert received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Columbia University. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1988. He was a pediatric resident and pediatric pulmonary fellow at the University of Pittsburgh/Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Albert joined the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in 2016, and is directing CF Foundation initiatives to improve the transplant journey for people with CF, advance quality improvement initiatives throughout the CF care network, and develop guidelines and toolkits to expand the delivery of palliative care to people with CF.
