Ginger Birnbaum

Mother of a child with CF

Ginger is a lifelong advocate and volunteer. When her son was diagnosed at birth with cystic fibrosis, she shifted her focus toward the needs of those living with CF and their community. Aspects of her work include healthcare advocacy, emotional wellness, partnerships in care, fundraising, and volunteer leadership. Since 2017, she has been a member of the Mental Health Advisory Committee. Ginger lives on Lookout Mountain in Tennessee with two dogs, two cats, a rabbit, too many books to count, her husband, Alex, and her children, Emma Virginia (13) and King (10).
