Each session opens 15 minutes prior to the start time. To access your live streamed session(s) click the “My Itinerary” tab to view the schedule that you created and launch from there or click on the "Session Agenda" tab and use the Filter by Date or Tag to locate and select your desired sessions.
The event platform can be accessed by most mobile devices, including tablets and smartphones. However, for virtual attendees, we strongly recommend using a desktop computer or laptop with a hardline internet connection for best performance and experience.
To access conference materials, click the "Handouts" tab. You will also be able to access materials in the “Resources” area during the live session.
Click on the gear icon of the left hand side of the event page to select your profile privacy settings and edit your profile. You can edit your last name field to include your desired pronouns, which will display as you participate in the event chat and networking. You’re welcome to include as much or as little as you wish, including uploading a profile picture so that your peers can put a name to the face during live chats.
Before you attend, we encourage you to create your personalized itinerary under the “My Itinerary” tab Filter by Date or Tag to sort sessions. Find a session you wish to add to your itinerary and click “Add to Itinerary”. During the event, navigate to this tab, and select “My Itinerary” at the top for easy access to the sessions you selected and to launch your session(s).
The CF Foundation continues to monitor the evolving pandemic situation. To reduce the risk of COVID-19, the Foundation is taking steps to host safe events for our community, and we ask that attendees follow the steps outlined in our Event Attendance Policy. For the health and well-being of the CF Community, we strongly encourage that participants be fully vaccinated and have received the CDC recommended booster shot when joining us in-person for any events. We are counting on the fact that you appreciate the potential consequences of exposing members of the CF community to COVID-19 and will not attend an event if you are feeling ill or have been recently exposed to COVID-19. Rapid tests and individually packaged masks will be available onsite for anyone who wishes to use them.
The CDC recommends that domestic travelers test as close as possible to the time of departure. We strongly recommend that you test within 24 hours prior to arrival at VLC.
We will follow CDC and local guidelines as they pertain to the health and safety of our community. We will update all attendees as policies, protocols, and event status evolves.
Before attending VLC virtually, be sure to check your system’s compatibility with the platform. This will ensure that you are able to participate on the live days. Click on the "System Checker" tab on the event page. Be sure to apply necessary updates to your system for items that fail before the live event.
